Just a short note this morning: the first three segments of Trenches, a short science fiction action/suspense movie by Shane Felux (Star Wars: Revelations; Pitching Lucas) are now online at Crackle:
I first saw Trenches at the Farpoint science fiction media convention in February of 2009. It’s great. I wrote a short review of it at that time which you can find here:

Hi Dennis, Revelations was astounding. Trenches is very cool, Shane is one of this old dude’s heroes.
I’m the only fan who has not seen Exeter TI past the teaser…YEARS ago I decided to wait until I could see the thing in its fresh entirety.
I’ve been doing the same thing with Aurora. I download the updates, tweaks and act releases, and just put them on ice. I fully expect to see Aurora finish up this Summer.
TI, not sure. Hell, I’m 60. You probably know the Johnson boys as well as anyone. Why don’t they just release what they have? As I understand it, you did the CG work on the project. If that’s in the can, what, the hangup is audio? Editing?
Polaris looks interesting indeed.
Uh, what monkey clicked what switch?

Actually I don’t know the exact answers to either of those questions. Yeah, most of the work on “Exeter” other than dialing in the final edit - including all the effects - is done. What’s the exact hold-up? I dunno, at this point I’m thinking it’s a matter of focus.
As for “Trenches,” it’s probably best to ask Shane that question over at Trenches Online.

Anyone know where the forums went? Did I miss something?

I closed the forums at the beginning of April, for the foreseeable future. Low activity, lots of spam and expenses associated with the software, unfortunately…

How about Polaris updates? Is the project still going?

Maybe a Facebook page?

The project is still going on, and we’re hoping to wrap production next month - more on that, later.
I hope to post a short update about our May shoot within the next three days.
Thanks for your patience and continued interest!
Dennis
